This Week in the Lab 10/7

Kindergarten

• Practice logging on the the computer
• Navigating the GCMS website
• Visiting Keyboarding Zoo on ABCYa to practice keyboard familiarity

1st Grade

• Navigating the GCMS website
• Use Tux Typing to practice keyboarding.  We will be using it to type the spelling words for the week.

2nd Grade

• Introduce PowerPoint
• Instert ClipArt and add a title.

3rd Grade

• Perform a Google Image search, looking at how to refine our search.
• Save a picture from Google Images into our folder.

4th Grade

• Continue the project from last week.
• Conduct Google Image searches on geography terms and save an image to their folder
• Insert the imate into a Word Document with an appropriate title
• This week we should finish and be able to print the documents.

5th Grade

• Continue the project from last week.
• Conduct Google Image searches for pictures of organs in different body systems
• Create a PowerPoint featuring the images and the web addresses of their sources
